Hillary Thomas

Hillary Thomas is a Los Angeles based composer who brings a new sense of energy to the world of film scoring, with work spanning a variety of film and music genres. Her experience and reputation for productive collaboration has made her a favorite composer among many film makers.

Hillary's enthusiasm for music dates back to age three, when she began studying violin and viola in Manassas, Virginia. Her passion for music only intensified as she grew older. It was much later, in Columbus, Ohio, that one of her private instructors suggested she direct some of her creativity to pen and paper and try composing. 

That was when she quickly found her calling. Over the next few years, she studied composition at the prestigious, Interlochen Academy of the Arts and The Ohio State University. It was not long before Hillary's distinctive works became recognized, as she won awards across the state for her original compositions.
